David Purdie

About Waypoint Real Estate GroupDavid’s passion for real estate investing and small business entrepreneurship is ultimately what brought him to the Waypoint team.  A   resident of central Florida for the past ten years, David has worked with a variety of small businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups in both leadership and consultative roles.  David graduated from Berry College with a BA in Religion and Philosophy and eventually went on to graduate from Rollin’s elite MBA program, Crummer Graduate School of Business, with a focus in Finance.  While pursuing his MBA, David worked for a small family business (growing, marketing, and exporting Florida citrus).  During his undergraduate years, David was heavily involved in Campus Outreach, a Christian collegiate ministry where he received a great deal of leadership training and mentoring, both contributing to his spiritual growth and leadership ability.  He ultimately joined the Campus Outreach staff, where he focused on discipleship and leadership development of college students.

“I had the privilege of investing into peoples’ spiritual lives as my ‘job’.” It is this very personal approach to his work that makes David an ideal fit for Waypoint real estate.  “I want clients to walk away from a transaction feeling they made the best decision possible and knowing that they had a trusted and skillful advisor partnering with them throughout the entire process. I’m passionate about helping people make sound financial/real estate decisions and making a potentially stressful process into one that is clear and easy to understand.”  David’s unique combination of business acumen, leadership, and diverse experience lends itself perfectly to his role in sales, investment modeling and consultation, marketing research, and business strategy and development. David has many interests, but looks most forward to enjoying life alongside his new bride as they share their passion for travel, missions, fitness, and building deep and lasting relationships with those in our community.


Jimmy Tate

About Waypoint Real Estate GroupIt likely began when Jimmy decided he wanted that motorcycle. The Honda XL80 still brings a grin to his face as he recalls riding it down the street in his football helmet.  He knew it was something he was going to have to work for and quickly Jimmy corralled friends from his neighborhood to wash cars and cut lawns.  Before he knew it, Jimmy was leading his own “operation” that likely birthed the entrepreneurial spirit that ultimately created one of today’s leading real estate teams in central Florida.  (That same spirit also eventually led to the purchase of a real motorcycle helmet.) Coincidentally, Jimmy has been exposed to the “art” of real estate and investing since he was a child. Both of Jimmy’s parents are real estate developers – his father the analyst, his mother with the discerning eye – together, a team of successful investors for over 40 years. Jimmy “inherited” the skill and passion for both and naturally navigates through the most complicated real estate ventures with seamless capability. This early exposure laid a solid foundation for an exciting career in real estate for Jimmy, yet he tempered his passion by first pursuing a sound understanding for business fundamentals and joined The Walt Disney Company.  For over 11 years, Jimmy performed various leadership roles in Florida-based Theme Park and Hotel Operations, Organizational Development, and Continuous Improvement consulting to area leadership.  With a desire to make a more personal impact on the lives of those he served, Jimmy took a leap of faith and created his own real estate team, in partnership with Keller Williams, and has been serving clients in and around central Florida since 2005. A graduate of Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  It is his genuine interest in understanding people that drives much of his business success. “This isn’t about helping people buy and sell a home.  This is about journeying alongside individuals as they encounter some of the greatest joys and lowest lows of their lifetimes.  It’s about being a part of their story during times of change, transition, growth, prosperity, downsizing, relocating, or facing life-changing difficulties.  It’s never just about real estate and I’m humbled to be in this trusted position.” Jimmy has been deliberate about remaining relevant and agile as business conditions constantly change in real estate.  And the industry has taken notice.  Jimmy has been  recognized by Keller Williams International with the Platinum Medallion Award and also among real estate’s Hot 100 in central Florida by Orlando Magazine.  He’s earned the esteemed Five Star real estate Agent 4 years running – an honor only 7% of real estate agents in the Orlando area can claim.   Most recently, he was recognized in Keller Williams’ Outfront Magazine as the 18th Top Producing Agent nationally for first quarter of 2013 and locally, Jimmy was the Top Producing Agent in his office at Keller Williams At The Lakes for 2012 and 2013. Contributing to these awards are Jimmy’s professional designations.  Among them, Jimmy is an elite “BOLD” Agent, Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), and Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE). Jimmy has lived in central Florida for over 20 years and not only serves investors, but invests personally as well.  A father to 2 beautiful children, Jimmy and his wife, Kristen, spend a great deal of their spare time making forts, playing games, and serving in ministries that support the growth of healthy marriages and families. “I am blessed beyond measure to do what I do.”


Susan Silva

About Waypoint Real Estate GroupYou might say one of Susan’s hobbies is real estate.  With an adventurous spirit, Susan has enjoyed personally buying and selling real estate most of her adult life, resulting in a proficient understanding of all that goes into it:  the good, the bad, and the exhilarating. So in 2008 when she made the transition from managing projects in the telecommunications industry to the Operations Manager for Waypoint real estate, she was in completely familiar territory. Susan has the dynamic role of business process creation and enhancement (an operations fundamental) to facilitating the very complex nature of transaction closings with our loyal clients.  In other words, Susan is juggling many facets of the organization both in front of and behind the curtain.  As a result, Susan’s giftedness in making real-time enhancements in our business practices has a timely impact on how we serve.  Susan is the consummate service provider.  Her warmth, authenticity, and tenacity for moving systems and procedures forward makes her a tremendous asset to the Waypoint team.  Susan has many other passions as well, including her love for animals, her involvement in community service, and her amazing (and growing) family of six grown children and two grandchildren.

Tiffany is no stranger to Florida or to the intricacies of buying and selling.  A Florida native, Tiffany transitioned from retail sales leadership with both Federated Department Stores and the Walt Disney Company to a career in real estate; one that has allowed her to create lasting friendships as a result of walking alongside families as they navigate significant changes and long-term decisions. ” I realize the home buying and selling experience can be stressful so it is my job to make it as seamless as possible.  I pride myself on honesty, integrity, and my authentic dedication to my clients.” Born and raised in the Florida Keys and a graduate of the University of Florida, Tiffany has over 10 years of experience in central Florida real estate.  She brings sound business acumen and insightful knowledge of the complexities of real estate transactions.  ” Having current, thorough knowledge of the inventory, agility to manage complicated contracts, and meticulous attention to every detail of the process are key to a successful transaction.” Tiffany loves to travel and recently returned from London, where she and her family spent 2 years abroad as part of an expatriate work experience with her husband’s company.  She loves to watch movies, spend time with friends and family, and go to University of Florida football games.  Growing up in the Florida Keys, Tiffany also loves to boat and dive.
